Compliance requirements, critical uptime, and mission-critical data demand a partner with real sector experience — not generalist advice. GAIN brings deep, proven expertise across 8 verticals.
Compliance requirements, critical uptime, and mission-critical data demand a partner with real sector experience — not generalist advice.
From K–12 districts to university systems, education institutions must support thousands of concurrent devices, protect student data under FERPA, meet E-Rate requirements, and do it all on constrained budgets. GAIN designs and manages the full technology stack — high-density Wi-Fi, secure wired infrastructure, cloud collaboration, and cybersecurity programs built for institutions that are frequent ransomware targets. We also deliver smart classroom A/V and access control systems that keep campuses safe without disrupting the learning environment.
Hotels, resorts, convention centers, and entertainment venues demand always-on connectivity and seamless guest experiences. GAIN delivers high-density Wi-Fi, property management system integration, digital signage, A/V, and cybersecurity — all backed by 24/7 managed support so your team can focus on guests, not IT. We also design the behind-the-scenes infrastructure that makes great hospitality possible: back-of-house networking, IP camera systems for security, access control for restricted areas, and the structured cabling that ties it all together across large, complex properties.
GAIN delivers purpose-built IT for police departments, fire agencies, and EMS organizations — designing mission-critical networks, secure communications, and hardened endpoints that keep personnel connected in the field and at the station. As an authorized DroneSense partner, we also help agencies build and scale drone fleet programs, including flight data management and full situational awareness integration with dispatch and CAD systems. GAIN understands the compliance requirements, funding pathways, and operational demands unique to public safety.
Healthcare organizations face a dual mandate: protect sensitive patient data while delivering a modern, connected care experience. GAIN designs HIPAA-compliant infrastructure for hospitals, health systems, specialty clinics, and medical campuses — covering secure wired and wireless networks, EHR system integration, and clinical data management. GAIN is partnered with leading technology companies who provide solutions to enhance the patient experience.
State agencies, city governments, school districts, and public universities operate under strict procurement rules, compliance mandates, and budget constraints that the commercial market rarely understands. GAIN does. We deliver compliant cloud migration, secure collaboration platforms, zero-trust network architecture, and fully managed IT services tailored to SLED environments. As an approved Texas DIR Vendor, agencies can procure GAIN's full portfolio directly through our cooperative contract — no lengthy RFP process required.
Banks, credit unions, wealth management firms, and insurance carriers operate in one of the most heavily regulated technology environments in existence. GAIN designs and manages infrastructure that satisfies auditors without slowing down the business — covering secure branch networking, multi-site WAN connectivity, endpoint protection, data loss prevention, and encrypted remote access for distributed teams. We help financial institutions modernize their technology stack while maintaining the data sovereignty, access controls, and audit trails that regulators require.
Energy and utility operators run infrastructure that cannot go down — making their IT and OT environments among the most demanding to secure. GAIN helps electric utilities, pipeline operators, water authorities, and energy distributors bridge the gap between operational technology and enterprise IT. We design secure network architectures that isolate critical control systems, harden SCADA and ICS environments against cyber threats, and deliver the visibility needed to detect anomalies before they become outages.
From greenfield plant builds to legacy modernization, GAIN designs and operates mission-critical IT for industrial environments. Our work with Lotte Chemical's Westlake, LA facility — the first hybrid cloud deployment at a major North American chemical plant — demonstrates our ability to deliver full-stack infrastructure that stays resilient through natural disasters and cloud outages alike.
GAIN embeds with commercial construction teams at the design phase — before a wall goes up — to architect the technology infrastructure for industrial facilities, corporate campuses, medical clinics, and specialty venues. We then supply and install the complete structured cabling: fiber, copper, conduit, and pathways that support networking, high-density Wi-Fi, IP cameras, and access control from day one. No retrofits. No surprises.
When Lotte Chemical broke ground on a world-scale ethylene cracker in Westlake, Louisiana, they needed an IT infrastructure partner who could design, build, and operate everything from the ground up — across hundreds of acres, in an environment where uptime isn't a preference, it's a safety requirement. GAIN delivered the complete solution: network architecture, hybrid cloud design, full procurement, end-to-end implementation, and 24/7 managed services. The result was a landmark first: the first hybrid cloud environment deployed for a major chemical plant in North America.
A major hurricane made direct landfall near Lake Charles, Louisiana, causing significant damage to Lotte Chemical's on-premises data center. For most plants, that would have meant an extended outage during an already catastrophic situation. For Lotte Chemical, operations continued without interruption — their workloads were fully redundant in AWS and automatically sustained throughout the storm and recovery period.
Years later, AWS experienced a significant regional outage affecting services across their infrastructure. This time, it was the cloud side of the equation that went dark. Lotte Chemical's fully operational on-premises data center — rebuilt and hardened after the hurricane — seamlessly absorbed the load. Operations continued without interruption, proving the hybrid architecture worked both ways.
GAIN designed and deployed a full technology environment — secure networks, multi-layered cybersecurity, hybrid cloud, and campus-wide A/V — for a first-of-its-kind leadership campus on Lake Austin. Delivered on time despite 6-month COVID supply chain delays. GAIN continues to manage the entire environment today, with zero outages across 5+ years of 24/7 managed services.
The Texas Department of Information Resources operates the Security Operations Center that protects the entire State of Texas — monitoring threats across dozens of state agencies from a single command. GAIN delivered a complete Corelight Open NDR deployment directly into DIR's SOC, giving the state's defenders deep network telemetry powered by Zeek, Suricata IDS, and YARA file analysis.
GAIN deployed 800+ Bluetooth beacons throughout MD Anderson's vast Houston campus, powering a turn-by-turn indoor wayfinding app that guides visitors from the right parking garage all the way to a specific appointment on the 14th floor.
Whether you're in healthcare, government, industrial, or education — GAIN starts with a candid conversation about your sector's specific requirements.
